Adult Day Services
Friendship Program, Inc.'s Adult Day Service provides assistance to older adults and their families and caregivers. This service primarily supports individuals 55 years of age or older to live independently in the community while offering respite for families and caregivers.
Adult Day Services Offers:
Daily classes and activities to increase the participant's social and recreational opportunities including: discussion and reminiscing groups; health, weight, and exercise groups; academic education groups; leisure, gardening, and musical groups; and craft and ceramic groups.
Breakfast, lunch, and snack daily.
Open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend events are also scheduled throughout the year.
Enroll in Friendship Program
Referrals to become a participant at Friendship Program can be made by physicians, friends, family, social services, and other community agencies. Individual concerned about their own well- being can refer themselves.
To make a referral, call Friendship Program at (402) 393-6911 to set up an appointment with the Social Service Department.
Once a referral has been made, our case workers will arrange for a referral, follow up and assessments. Through this process,
Friendship Program can best fit the participant to the proper services, needs, and goals to help them succeed.
Adult Day Services can be paid for by private pay arrangement, Health and Human Service contracts, Veteran's Administration and donations.
