Peer Support Services

What is Peer Support?

Peer Support Services create opportunities for individuals to connect with each other in creating mental health. These opportunities provide a process for people to feel connected to their family, their community, and the world while learning and growing as an individual. Peer Support Services provide emotional support and mentoring. Through these services information and knowledge is shared to improve individual wellness. People are assisted in developing a social support network.

Who can use Peer Support Services?

Any person who enrolled in the services of Friendship Program and is working on issues related to their mental health challenges can use the Peer Support Services.
